Knoxville, Tenn.— Celebrate Father’s Day with a zoo adventure!  In honor of Father’s Day, Knoxville Zoo is offering free admission to all dads with a paid child’s admission this Sunday, June 15, 2014.

Even though dads are the guests of honor, the entire family is sure to enjoy an outing full of unforgettable experiences.  Meet some of the zoo’s largest animal ambassadors eye-to-eye at the Williams Family Giraffe Encounter, have a throwback to the kind of outdoor play Dad grew up with at Nature Play and bring a swimsuit to cool off in the Clayton Family Safari Splash.  Whatever adventures Dad chooses to pursue will make for thmost memorable Father’s Day for everyone.

Knoxville Zoo is Knoxville’s largest year-round attraction.  Located off exit 392A from Interstate 40, the zoo is open every day except Christmas Day. Knoxville Zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is committed to the highest standards in animal care and well-being, ethics, conservation, and education. Currently, the zoo is open daily from 9:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  Admission and ticket sales stop one-hour before the zoo closes.
