Knoxville, TN – In 2015 Carleo Entertainment lent their support and resources to assist several area nonprofits with their fundraisers and missions. Seeing the relief that donated venues and staff can give to a nonprofit organization, usually operating on a shoestring budget, Carleo Entertainment CEO, Duane Carleo, made a 2016 philanthropic goal for his company.
In 2016, Mr. Carleo advised his management team and staff that Carleo Entertainment has a goal of helping raise $100,000 for local nonprofits and fundraisers. Nine months into 2016, Carleo Entertainment is well on their way to achieving this goal, having already helped raise over $80,000. On Tuesday, September 27, the goal gets closer to being accomplished when Carleo Entertainment pairs up with WIVK and other local sponsors as they bring country music, singer-songwriter and guitarist Frankie Ballard to Knoxville for the 2016 Cerebral Palsy Benefit Concert. A portion of ticket proceeds will be going to the Cerebral Palsy Center of Knoxville. The Cerebral Palsy Center is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities have the chance at a fulfilling life with as much independence as possible.
Frankie Ballard has opened shows for popular artists Kenney Chesney and Lady Antebellum, and saw much success from his second album. Sunshine & Whiskey, Ballard’s second album, scored him three consecutive, number-one hits, “Helluva Life”, “Sunshine & Whiskey”, and “Young & Crazy”.
Frankie Ballard will be in good company, The Young Fables and Jess English join the lineup as other talented musicians for the evening.
This evening of top talent benefiting the Cerebral Palsy Center of Knoxville takes place in the Old City Courtyard at 120 E. Jackson Ave. in Knoxville’s historic Old City in downtown Knoxville. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with the concert concluding at 10 p.m. Tickets for this 18+ concert can be purchased on Eventbrite or under “Events” at www.carleoentertainment.com.
Advance tickets are currently on sale for $20. Day-of-Show tickets will be $25 and VIP tickets will be available for $40. VIP tickets will get you into a section designated for VIP only, directly in front of the stage. Along with a seating area on the side of the stage reserved for VIP guests only.
